ADD YOUR EVENT TO THE FEST
The Big Bold Jewish Climate Fest is a cross-communal collaboration to make climate action a central moral priority of the Jewish community community. Last year we had 165 community produced events that complemented the mainstage events of the Fest. We’re excited to once again invite you to submit events you are planning -- online or onsite -- that are in alignment with the Fest’s goals, values and theme.
The 2022 Big Bold Climate Fest will be centered around the theme of building a movement by INVESTING in solutions – focusing on how our values can be expressed through our personal, professional, communal, organizational and societal investments – and SHIFTING AWAY from systems, practices and ways of thinking that perpetuate climate destruction and inequity. We encourage you to consider how your event can help educate, inspire and lead to action on this theme.
HOW IT WORKS
We listened to feedback from you after last year’s Fest and have made a few changes to the process for this year. Community produced events submitted to (and approved by) the Fest will be listed on our website, but we will not manage registration for these events. Your submission should have a simple, clear title; a one sentence teaser; and a link for registration and/or participation. All community produced events must take place between January 8-17, 2022, leading up Tu BiShvat.
As a Fest partner, we ask that you help promote the Big Bold Jewish Climate Fest and it’s goal of making climate action a central moral priority of the Jewish community, as well as your own individual event. Together, we amplify our message, our movement and our goals. You can find a social media kit here, and you can use the language “This event is produced in alignment with the Big Bold Jewish Climate Fest.”
READY TO SUBMIT?
Gather the details of your event, compose your title, teaser and link, plus a small image (which can be your organizational logo, event branding, or something that represents the content of your event).
Under the “Title” in the form, check “Add a button linking to the event website” and then paste the link to your website for further details and event registration. [At the bottom of the form is an optional place to include a physical location or Zoom link. This is optional. For additional security, you may leave this blank and email the location information to registrants directly.]
Once you submit your event, our team will verify it is in alignment with the Fest goals, values and theme, then it will appear on our website under the Community Produced Events tab which will be available soon. You are not able to edit your event after it is published, so please check your submission before submitting.
If you would like your logo added as a Fest partner and it is not already on our Partners page, please send a square version of your logo to partners@jewishclimatefest.org with a note about the name of the event you’ve submitted.
